Woke up with a delightful swim - no surf, but very refreshing - and considerably warmer than the cold showers available (I'm not complaining - I'm still excited about having running water!) Spent the morning lazing around, working on getting caught up with my journal (almost there), and playing cards. Early afternoon five of us (us four plus LeeAnn - from Tuck Africa) hitched into town. Spent the day trying to get through to my parents, typing email, trying to find someplace to send email and drinking. We ended up sitting in a cafe for almost eight hours (I took off every hour or so to try and get through to the US). Finally got hold of home (or got hold of Tim who called my dad and had him call me back). Got back to the camp around midnight and hung out talking for another hour or so before realizing that I am not going to be happy tomorrow morning when the sun comes up at six...
