Took the tube into London from Heathrow. Tried to get hold of Jeanne and Laura (friends I was counting on staying with), but no one answered the phone. Checked my pack at Victoria station so I could at least wander around unencumbered. Started a survey of Pubs (more specifically Ales) while I was waiting for them to get home. After I gave up on them on my way to pick up my pack and find someplace to stay I finally got hold of them.

We had a pretty good Thai dinner near their house and talked 'til late.
