Showed up for dive class an hour late. Without my knoweledge time changed in Egypt last night. Luckily no one else knew either and the other student and instructor were late as well.
We did a drift dive along Ric's Reef about 5 km North of Dahab. My first dive in the Red Sea was amazing. There is so much life in such a riot of colors it's quite distracting. There's almost too much competing for your attention.
The second dive of the day was to test our Navigation skills. Got that done then the other student and I were alowed to go explore Light House Reef (right off Assalah). It was a nice dive, right before sunset so the colors weren't quite so vivid.
I'm starting to concider staying here on the Sinai and diving instead of rushing around trying to see the rest of Egypt in two weeks. Can't wait to get in the water tomorrow...
Met everyone on thier way to Happy hour on my way back to the hotel. Decided against a shower and joined them. Dinner was at, surprise, the Shark Club.
