Spent the morning / afternoon walking the River Liffey and wandering around the Temple Bar and Trinity University areas. I wanted to see the book of Kells, but it was not on display due to some restoration work, and I didn't feel like paying to see a "Fine Art Reproduction". Trinity in general was beautiful, and I always enjoy wandering around Universities so the trip was far from wasted dispite the Book of Kells disapointment.
Had lunch in a Temple Bar pub, then found an internet cafe for a quick look. On the walk back to the hostel I hit the Old Jameson Distillery. It was interesting and included about 6 different kinds of Irish wisky (which reminded me that I don't like whiskey), but like the Guinness tour didn't actually show the real production line.
Spent the evening in "The Temple Bar Pub". Nice place, but nothing too exciting.
