Found the guest house that Danga (part of the diver crowd in Dahab) had recommended. As I walked in I realized that Stacy might be here, or if she's not she'll probably be showing up today. I hadn't been planning on being in Thailand so quickly so I don't remember when she was going to get here (we were going to overlap one day), but I know she was only going to be in Amsterdam two days. The room is costing me a little more than I thought it should but it's clean. Small (the bed fills up two thirds of it and if I lie down straight both my feet and head touch the walls), but it's also homily decorated and clean. I laid down for a nap and woke up a couple hours later still feeling tired. I realized that the airline office was probably already closed (getting my tickets changed and looking in to a flight to Cambodia were my goals for today) so I went back to sleep. The next time I woke up it was to the loudest thunder I've ever heard and it was dark outside. Sometime later I woke up still tired, but feeling much better and it was getting light outside. I checked my clock and it was just after six. I got up thinking I'd get a very early start on the day but when I checked the time again I realized that it was six P.M. - the earlier darkness must have been caused by the sudden storm. So I went back to sleep again. I was wide awake at midnight so I pulled out my journal to start getting caught up. When I went down stairs to wash up I noticed that the bar was still open. I ended up having a couple beers with an English wanker and a German guy.
