Caught the train. Spent two hours at the Turkish border stabding in this line to get my passport stamped, being told I needed to go stand in another line for my visa first (US$45, which again I didn't have - saved by the German Marks again), then go stand in the first line again. I very nearly missed my train (the conductor had to open the door for me) with my luggage on board.
